Southampton
A tight-knit residential square mile
Southampton is a charming neighborhood close to many bars and restaurants all along Hampton Ave, such as Mom’s Deli, J.J. Twig’s, Salvage Yard, and Salt & Smoke BBQ. The area is affectionately known as “SOHA”.
It’s a quiet, safe, middle/working-class neighborhood, and one of the more walkable neighborhoods in South City. There are many homes in the classic St. Louis brick architecture style that have a lot of character. It’s close to Francis Park in St. Louis Hills, and also not too far from Tower Grove Park.
