Wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza
Everything about Pizzeria da Gloria is amazing. The vibe is welcoming, the patio is beautiful, and the food is top notch and reasonably priced for everything you get. Pizzeria da Gloria, along with Louie, is the best Italian food I’ve had in St. Louis.
I particularly loved the caprese salad - made with homemade mozzarella! - but the meatballs were too good to not choose them as “my pick”. Probably the best meatballs I’ve ever had.
Let’s not forget the Neapolitan-style pizza, made in an enormous wood-fired oven. My only issue was that the Marguerita pizza I ordered was more of a regular cheese pizza, since it didn’t use fresh tomatoes and mozzarella slices, but it was still delicious.
This is the perfect spot to get a nice birthday dinner or other small celebration.
